Hello Everybody.
This contest theme is going to be an idea for a journal layout. You don't have to worry about knowing how to code it, just come up with a cool look for a journal (specifically for this club) and then we will pick winners, and we will use that layout!

Rules.
1.Submission time is from May 6th to May 30th.
2.Winners will be picked between June 1st and Jun 5th.
3.Please keep the theme 'clean'. And if possible, have it Sault related, but it isn't a requirement. If you think it is really cool, we probably will too.
4.You can send up to three entries per person, if you wish.
5.Upload a picture of your layout (to your scraps for example) and then note the club with a link to your layout.

Journal Design/CSS Ideas?

We are looking for deviants (particularly members of this club) who would be interested in creating a Journal Design for this club. It has been plain for too long!

If you have any ideas, please send a note to the club.

Even if you do not know how to do CSS, but you have a layout idea, you are welcome to send in a jpg image of what the journal could look like, and then have someone else code it for you.

If we receive multiple ideas, then we will do a poll and you can pick the one you like best. We can have more than one Journal Layout finalists, and then maybe we can rotate them on a monthly basis.

If you have any other ideas regarding this topic, please feel free to mention it, and we will add your ideas to this journal!

So the topic for the April's contest has again been chosen at random from a bag.
This months theme will be Surreal

Rules

1. What is Surrealism? Extreme imagery to extend the scene beyond realism. Pictures that have a dream-like quality and are not modeled off reality. They are related to the disorienting quality of a dream. They can express the workings of the subconscious characterized by fantastic imagery and mismatch of subject matter.

2. How Many Submissions Can I Send? You are allowed to send up to a maximum of three submissions.

3. What Media am I Allowed to Use? You can use any type of media you want. Ie) Photography, Photomanipulation, Digital or Traditional Art.

4. When is the Deadline? You are allowed to submit entries until April 30th. Entries after this date will not be accepted.

5. What are the Prizes? A feature in this journal, and a monthly feature in the shoutboard. If you would like to donate a prize for this specific contest, please send a note to the club. We greatly welcome contest prize donations.
